WHY DO I NEED A MAKEUP ARTIST?
Hiring a makeup artist gives you the peace of mind of knowing a professional will make sure you look your best in person and on camera. You will have access to top makeup products without having to purchase them. With experience and skill, A makeup artist has experience and skills to create a look for you that fits you and enhances your natural beauty. Hiring a makeup artist saves you time and it’s a fun experience.
HOW LONG DOES MAKEUP APPLICATION TAKE?
When booking a makeup appointment with The Christina Experience, please allow for 45 min to 1.5hrs. If you are booking a bridal makeup trial, please allow 2 hours time.If you are a bride, please allow 1 hour and 30 minutes for yourself and one hour per member of the bridal party.
WHAT DOES A TYPICAL MAKEUP APPLICATION LOOK LIKE?
Our professional prep your skin before applying any makeup. Moisturizer and primer is applied according to your skin type, and then we start with the makeup application process.
CAN I HIRE YOU FOR PARTIAL MAKEUP SERVICES?
Unfortunately, we are not available for partial makeup services or to touch up other artist's work. For a makeup look to be complete and represent The Christina Experience’s work, the makeup will need to be done by our professionals.
WHAT DO I NEED TO PREPARE FOR YOU ON THE DAY OF MY APPOINTMENT?
Please make sure to have an area designated for your makeup artist that has the best natural light. Please have a bar stool or a chair with adjustable height to sit on for your appointment.

HOW DO I BOOK YOUR SERVICES?
Under our services section, select the service you want and book your appointment. You will need to select the date and enter the required information. Our professionals will follow up by email to get more details and obtain the deposit. The deposit is required to confirm the appointment. HOW FAR IN ADVANCE DO I HAVE TO BOOK?
We suggest booking your makeup appointment as soon as possible. Although our professionals can accommodate last-minute needs, it is not always an option. We recommend booking an appointment at least two weeks to one month in advance for non-bridal services. For bridal services, we recommend from a year to four months the latest.
WHEN IS A MAKEUP ASSISTANT NECESSARY?
If the number of persons requesting makeup services exceeds 5 or more, a makeup assistant may be needed. This will be confirmed depending on the amount of time that you have available to get ready. An additional fee will be charged if a makeup assistant is needed.
WHAT IF THERE IS A CANCELLATION?
Refunds are available only within 24hrs of booking the service otherwise credit will be available for future service and must be redeemed within 90 days for non-bridal services.
For bridal services, if a contract must be terminated due to a wedding day cancellation, the bridal client is responsible for 50% of the total cost of services (bridal & bridal party included) booked for her date if canceled within three months prior to the wedding day. Full payment will be charged to the bridal client if a cancellation occurs within a month of the wedding day.
DO YOU TRAVEL?
Yes, The Christina Experience travels to our clients in Massachusetts and surrounding states (RI & NH). Any travel over an hour or out of the country will have additional fees.
WHAT IS YOUR TRAVEL FEE?
We charge $35 for up to 15 miles and $1 for each mile after. Any travel over an hour or out of the country will have additional fees.
WHAT DOES THE TRAVEL FEE COVER?
Driving time, gas expenses, travel mileage & maintenance following. For destination weddings, the flight and hotel fee will be included in the travel fee.
HOW DO YOU HANDLE PAYMENT?
We accept cash, Venmo, and Cashapp. Checks are acceptable only for deposits for bridal services.
